Karma Yoga is practiced by those who want a sound spiritual life, and those who want to act without overthinking any situation. The entire concept of Karma Yoga can be better explained through the following points:
- Changing Self-Centered Attitude: Karma Yoga can be defined as a real-time practice. Whether it is something you are doing or thinking or willing, the principles of Karma Yoga states that those actions should be done without any kind of desires or hidden motives. Karma Yoga seeks to rid the self-centered attitude of people.
- No Worrying about Consequences: How many things have all of us backed out off due to the fear of failure, or of a particular consequence? Karma Yoga teaches us to approach situations and act without concentrating on what kind of fallout the situation will have. This can be often interpreted as a justification of rash behavior, but it is anything but. The sole aim of this aspect is to purify the mind and get rid of fear.
- Accepting Unexpected Results: Karma Yoga states that unacceptance of unexpected results can make the mind a very negative place, and teaches the importance of being emotionally controlled when certain situations don’t work out to one’s liking.
